BONES found in a box stored in a southern England museum are believed to be either that of King Alfred the Great or his son, King Edward the Elder.

As the team scrapped away at yet another set of bones, Simon wondered whose these could be? It was one of those odd jobs, whatever it was being built – underground roads, big skyscrappers, subways – Simon and his team would have to come through and clear the space of any ‘historical’ artefacts. At present, up to fifteen skeletal remains, today they hit jackpot…
